• Saudi exports reviews the challenges to access the international markets.

                  The Saudi Export Development  Committee in the Eastern Region organized a meeting on Sunday, May 21, 2017 to discuss the two projects of establishing export houses and studying the financial solutions for the importing and exporting sector. The meeting focused on the need to create trust between the banking sector and exporting companies to finance Kingdom exports, and urged for overcoming the difficulties faced by exporters.
    The meeting also highlighted the development programs that the Committee is working on to implement in consultation and cooperation with the authorities aiming to improve the non oil exports and encouraging local exporters to compete internationally among the kingdom transformation 2030 goals.
    The Deputy Chairman of the Industrial Committee in Asharqia Chamber Muhammed bin Khalifa Al Juaib,  headed the discussions of the workshop, saying that exporting in the Kingdom suffers from some difficulties and challenges, mostly the high cost of the port fees, and the increase in the number of documents and irregular navigation lines. He also noted the importance of enhancing confidence between the local product and the financing houses, which would contribute to improving the efficiency of the exporting environment.
    In addition, the Saudi Export Development Committee presented a visual presentation of the project of financial services to the importing and exporting sector, its effects on improving the efficiency of the exporting environment and facilitating the access of local products to international markets.
    The Committee pointed that there is a study under preparation to solve the issue of funding, so that it takes the views of companies and institutions, in preparation for introducing the study to the upper authorities, as this study contributes to addressing the subject of funding precisely and in detailes.
    With regard to the multiplicity and diversity of the problems faced by the exporting sector, including the logistics aspect, and the financial aspect, the Committee noted to several projects ongoing. The most important of these is the launching of exporting houses, looking forward to provide financial and technical services to exporters.
    The Committee stressed that one of its main tasks is to look for new markets and discuss the necessary procedures for the Saudi product to reach those markets. It aims to increase the exporting readiness of local establishments by improving their capabilities and exporting knowledge in accordance with the best international practices. and creating opportunities for exporters to market local products in international markets and linking them to international buyers.
    Saudi Exports put all its capabilities to improve the efficiency of the export environment, improve exporting capabilities, enhancing exporters and their products and create exporting opportunities by improving financial, promotional and logistical services to exporters, developing programs and providing incentives to exporters, promoting Saudi products in international markets, competitive quality to achieve the access to international markets, reflecting the status of the Saudi product, and to assist the national economy, the "Saudi exports" is a translate to the Kingdom vision 2030, and to meet the aspirations of the wise leadership to diversify the sources of income for The national economy.
